LONGi bifacial glass-glass modules - double the light yield, double the resistance


The glass-glass modules with bifacial technology from LONGi Solar combine high energy yields with a robust design - ideal for PV projects with high demands on service life, stability and yield optimization. Thanks to the bifacial cell layout, they can convert not only direct sunlight but also reflected light from the back into electricity. The double-sided glass structure also protects the cells from environmental influences, resulting in less degradation and greater reliability in the long term.

The modules belong to the n-type TOPCon solar module category and are particularly suitable for ground-mounted systems, rooftop systems with reflective surfaces or systems with an east-west orientation.

With bifacial cell technology and a robust glass-glass structure, these modules from LONGi focus on maximum energy yield and durability. The combination of both technologies not only ensures higher yields through backlighting, but also protects the cells permanently from the effects of the weather - ideal for demanding PV projects in the commercial and ground-mounted sectors.

Bifacial cell technology

  • Additional energy yield: rear-side yields of up to 25 % depending on the substrate and installation situation (e.g. gravel, foil, concrete).

  • Higher overall efficiency due to additional light absorption on the back of the module.

Glass-glass structure

  • Double-sided glass structure (e.g. 2.0 mm + 1.6 mm): Protection against micro-cracks, UV radiation and moisture.

  • Long-term yield security: Lower degradation (0.40 % p. a. from year 2) and 30-year linear performance guarantee.

  • High load capacity: snow load up to 5400 Pa, wind load up to 2400 Pa, certified to IEC/UL.
